The Noor Al Hussein Foundation (NHF) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that makes a lasting, positive impact on the lives of disadvantaged people in Jordan and the Middle East.
Founded in 1985, NHF works with local communities to support their own efforts in achieving a better quality of life through programs and projects that foster sustainable development, governance and grassroots activism.
Our programs are designed to have the broadest reach possible, and provide people with the resources, tools and opportunities that enable them to take independent initiatives,
and empower themselves socially, economically and personally. Several NHF programs have grown to become leading institutions in Jordan and the region in the fields of family health, microfinance, women's empowerment and sustainable community development.
With over 20 years' experience and the largest portfolio in integrated community development and economic empowerment programs in Jordan, NHF has directly and positively impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of men, women and children.
